Spinosaurus literally translates to "spine lizard." This therapod dinosaur was one of largest carnivores to ever walk the earth and is currently found in northern Afirica. Reaching 50 feet in length and weighing over 16,000 pounds.  These monster dinosaurs possessed conical teeth with no serrations. Recent discovers lead many to believe Spinosaurus often lived in and around water, hunting fish as a primary food source. What makes this dinosaur so unique is the large "sail-like" structure found on its back.
