Dinosaur Bone Pendant

Availability: In stock (1)

Dinosaur fossils have been found on every continent in the world, including Antarctica. However, most of these fossils have been in North America, China, Northern Africa, and Argentina. This fossilized bone is often referred to as "gembone" and is more than likely from Utah. The original calcite material has been replaced with agate. This occurs when superheated groundwater, saturated with silica, floods the area and allows the minerals to swap. Sections of bone with small cell structure indicates it most likely belonged to a sauropod as opposed to a therapod.
